Rawhide Kid Max #1

The Rawhide Kid (real name: Johnny Bart, originally given as Johnny Clay) is a fictional cowboy in Marvel Comics’ shared universe. the Marvel Universe. The Rawhide Kid was a heroic gunfighter of the 19th Century American West, who was unjustly wanted as an outlaw. He is one of Marvel’s most prolific Western characters, rivaled only by the Two-Gun Kid and Kid Colt. He and other Marvel western heroes have on rare occasions guest-starred through time travel in such contemporary titles as The Avengers and West Coast Avengers.

A controversial 2003 limited series from Marvel’s MAX imprint, the five-issue Rawhide Kid (the story itself titled “Slap Leather”), revealed him to be a homosexual. The series was labeled “Parental Advisory Explicit Content”, and the story was written by Ron Zimmerman and veteran John Severin. Sales for the book were low although it was surrounded by a great deal of publicity for the orientation of the character.

Scare Tactics 1-6 (Comics) Near Mint Condition

Scare Tactics #01

Scare Tactics is a comic book series published by DC Comics. A total of twelve issues appeared, dated from December 1996 to March 1998. The series, written by Len Kaminski, was a part of DC’s Weirdoverse group of titles. It came out about the same time as these other new DC properties e.g. Young Heroes in Love, Vext, Chase, Chronos. Xero et. al. As well as relaunches of other titles that were supposed to cover the scary side of the DC universe. Such as Doom Patrol, Book of Fate, and Night Force I think. Do any of these titles ring a bell?

Scare Tactics follows the life of 4 teenage escapees from R-Complex (sorta like Area 51 but for supernatural phenomenon, a warewolf, a vampire, a reptilian guy, and a really deformed boil encrusted monster. They escaped from R-Complex with the Help of Fate’s best friend/quais sidekick, Arnold Burnsteel. They go on the lam, all the while beig escorted by Burnsteel on his winebaggo, and posing as a rock metal band!!! Thay have to resort to using their individual abilities, smarts, and overall mean disposition to stay ahead of R-Complex.

The OUTCampaign

Please Read! Source:

Atheists have always been at the forefront of rational thinking and
beacons of enlightenment, and now you can share your idealism by being
part of the OUT Campaign.

come out

Atheists are far more numerous than most people realize. COME OUT of
the closet! You’ll feel liberated, and your example will encourage
others to COME OUT too. (Don’t “out” anybody else, wait for them to
OUT themselves when they are ready to do so).

reach out

The OUT Campaign allows individuals to let
others know they are not alone. It can also be a nice way of opening a
conversation and help to demolish the negative stereotypes of atheists.
Let the world know that we are not about to go away and that we are not
going to allow those that would condemn us to push us into the shadows.

speak out

As more and more people join the OUT
Campaign, fewer and fewer people will feel intimidated by religion. We
can help others understand that atheists come in all shapes, sizes,
colours and personalities. We are labourers and professionals. We are
mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers and grandparents.
We are human (we are primates) and we are good friends and good
citizens. We are good people who have no need to cling to the

keep out

It is time to let our voices be heard regarding the intrusion of
religion in our schools and politics. Atheists along with millions of
others are tired of being bullied by those who would force their own
religious agenda down the throats of our children and our respective
governments. We need to KEEP OUT the supernatural from our moral
principles and public policies.

It is time to step up and…

stand out
