I’ve been with my current company for almost five years now. I worked for a bank before, I resigned because I felt I needed a work that can give me better compensation. I heard of a job opening in one of the buildings in Eastwood. I know nothing about working in a call center business. All I know is that agents who works for contact centers either receive or make calls, and of course are paid really well. I figured I should give it a try. And so the next day, I walked in G*********e and applied for work. I passed the interview with flying colors and was immediately scheduled for training the following week. That was the start of my long journey in the call center industry.
I’ve been with the same company for almost 5 years now. I started as an agent, got promoted several times until I became one of the respected Senior Operations Training Specialist. I am now looking for another promotion, as Training Supervisor for Operations. I’ve always loved working for my company and never did it cross my mind to really consider resigning. Yes I would think of resignation, but I’d usually fore go it for several justifiable reasons, one of which is that I am still very much happy with G********e. This was my mindset until I got a call from my former boss earlier today. He offered me triple of what my current salary is, and what he wants from me is to commit myself to his company full-time. He actually asked me to immediately resign, and he is giving me until Wednesday to finalize my decision.
I am seriously considering his offer. Although I must say that losing the 5 year experience I had with my current company is something to really consider. I soooo need somebody to give a really sound advice right now. Somebody? Help!
